At Royal Canin, we know that every cat breed has a unique personality and different physical and nutritional needs. And, those differences are the reasons why we created specific formulas for Maine Coon, Siamese and Persian cats.

Maine Coon Cats
Maine Coons are sometimes called "gentle giants" since they can weigh up to 22 lbs. and typically have a good-natured and gentle personality. Considered to be the largest pure breed cat, they can suffer from mobility issues since their larger size can put more pressure on their skeletal structure and joints. One of their trademark features is their beautiful full, mid-length coat.
Maine Coons seize food with the upper surface of their tongue and usually swallow it whole. Maine Coon 31™ kibbles are designed for this larger cat’s jaw size.

Persian Cats
Persians are known for their long, beautiful coat and their brachycephalic (flat) face. The calm Persian usually likes to lead a sedentary life.
Persians use the lower side of their tongue to pick up their food. Our research shows that the almond-shaped kibble is easier for the Persian to eat.

Siamese Cats
People always recognize the Siamese for its cream, lilac, blue or seal point markings and striking blue eyes. Plus, the Siamese cat is known as a talkative cat with a muscular, yet long and slender body type. The Siamese cat also has a sensitive digestive system, and can suffer from vomiting.
Siamese cats seize food with their tongue and sometimes just their teeth. The Siamese 38™ kibble is designed to stimulate chewing and slow down their eating.
